Generally speaking the ideal worm to produce vermicompost is the Red Composting Worm. Closely behind it is the Tiger Worm. The Red Worms are much faster breeders than Tigers and you will find that an initial batch of 200 Red Worms will quickly grow to easily fill your worm farm.
